Bex was a much loved and enthusiastic admin, always giving advice until the very end. She was a big fan of BRiC. BRiC was founded with the mission to cultivate resilience in women with a primary or secondary breast cancer diagnosis. Emotional vulnerability is something women with breast cancer experience to large extents, and this can impair their quality of life as well as affecting rates of mortality. BRiC conducts cutting edge research to find the best ways to boost resilience and empower women diagnosed with breast cancer. Bex was very supportive of this mission and contributed to BRiC in many fruitful ways. She was a great believer in BRiC, cherishing and encouraging our 'structured activities' as she says in the short clip below.
