Those who know me well will know that I lost my dear friend Bex to Stage 4 cancer last year. Bex was such an inspiration in the way she approached her diagnosis and treatment, sharing her experiences to help others. She had so many friends and contacts that her insight was incredibly far-reaching. It was tough for those of us that loved Bex to see her going through such a devastating and unrelenting illness, and even tougher for Bex (and so many others) to face day-to-day. Cancer is such an awful disease that affects so many lives. We're in a much better position now than ever before for prognosis, treatment and support, but it's not enough. I want to raise money, in honour of Bex, to help bring about further change. One day maybe we can kick cancer to the curb... 

I will be doing a 24k trek on 25th June (part of the Cotswold Way) to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Now. Please help by donating whatever you can. I'm so grateful for any support, financial or otherwise, and I know Bex will be looking down on me as I undertake this challenge. I really want to complete it, to help this vital charity and make Bex proud.
