Bex was a life explorer, author, speaker, and academic, who loved people, Pokemon, port and pockets. She also loved cheese. She inspired many people with her positive attitude to life and was loved by many. In 2017 Bex was diagnosed with primary breast cancer. In January 2019 she discovered she had secondary breast cancer. She spent two years #BusyLivingWithMets but sadly, on Thursday 18th February 2021, she became one of the 31 people who die everyday from secondary breast cancer in the UK. #IAmThe31 Bex wanted us to know that: - 1 in 3 women with primary breast cancer subsequently develop
